Carolyn Leonard

Carolyn was born and raised in Sacramento. She graduated from the University of California, Davis and earned a teaching credential in Spanish. Her real estate career started in Orange County, CA where industry modernization first began to develop. She returned to Sacramento and served at Crocker Bank in construction
finance. Carolyn’s first love was working with buyers and sellers, so she returned to residential real estate in 1980 in Davis. She was instrumental in the Yolo County Association of Realtors adopting a computerized source for Multiple Listing data and its first MLS book. She co-owned a successful real estate company with Ross in Davis for ten years before merging with RE/MAX. She has twice served on the YCAR board of directors. Carolyn has held the CRS designation for many years, placing her in the top 5% of Realtors nationwide.

 

Julie Leonard

Julie grew up in Davis and was a member of the Davis High School Jazz and Symphonic Bands and on the Swimming and Water Polo Teams. She attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. While at Cal Poly, she was on the 2003 and 2004 National Club Water Polo Championship Team. After graduation, she worked as an Engineer and Subcontracts Manager for Raytheon in El Segundo, CA. She is a licensed real estate agent and returned to Davis to join the family real estate team. She is a member of the California Association of Realtors and served on the Yolo County Association of Realtors Scholarship Committee.

 

J. Ross Leonard

Ross joined Carolyn in the real estate business after serving 24 years in the  U.S. Air Force. During his career he served as a Command Pilot and logged  over 5,000 hours of flight time. His assignments included teaching as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the Air Force Academy and two combat tours in Viet Nam.  He finished his Air Force career flying C-5s based at Travis AFB.

He is a Real Estate Broker and was President of the Yolo County Association of Realtors (YCAR) for 1998.  He has earned the ePro, CRS and SRES designations and is in the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. He has twice served on the YCAR board of directors. Ross has a B.S. in Chemistry from the USAF Academy and a M.S. in Chemistry from UC Davis. He is also a registered tax preparer.
